This is a costume based on the Stargate movie and series. The Goa'uld armor is made from a sweater, some carved neoprene (camping mat), styrofoam and an old bike helmet. I added lights to the helmet and the glove for the fun of it. The staff weapon is made of a shower curtain rod, a small plastic paddle and more carved foam. Painting this costume was the biggest challenge - especially the sweater which took quite a few coats and the foam which I quickly learned had to be covered with silicone to stop the paint from dissolving it.
